Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MJHR collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our company-discovery website, workspaces, saved searches, coverage requests, API, documentation, and support services (together, the Service).

Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect information you submit to the Service, including:

  • account details such as your name and email address;
  • workspace details, participant roles, and settings;
  • search prompts, filters, saved searches, folders, notes, and coverage requests;
  • API keys and integration settings; and
  • messages and files you send to support.

Payment details are processed by our payment providers. MJHR may receive billing status, plan, transaction identifiers, and limited payment metadata, but does not store complete card numbers.

Information collected automatically

When you use MJHR, we may collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, language, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic events. Anonymous trial activity may be associated with a browser identifier so that searches and requests remain available in that browser.

Company and public-source data

MJHR organizes information about companies and markets from public sources, licensed providers, user submissions, and our own review processes. Company records may contain business contact details and information about people acting in a professional capacity. This policy also applies when that information is personal data under applicable law.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • run searches, save results, fulfill coverage requests, and preserve their source context;
  • create and administer accounts, workspaces, plans, and billing;
  • authenticate API and integration requests;
  • respond to support, security, and legal requests;
  • measure performance and understand how the Service is used;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service; and
  • send service notices and, where permitted, product communications you can opt out of.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use private workspace content to advertise third-party products to you.

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as securing and improving MJHR, comply with legal obligations, and act on your consent where we ask for it. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Cookies and similar technologies

MJHR uses essential storage and cookies for sessions, security, language, appearance, and anonymous trial continuity. We may also use analytics technologies to understand aggregate usage and diagnose problems. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the Service from working.

How we share information

We may share information with:

  • infrastructure, authentication, analytics, communications, support, and payment providers working for us;
  • other participants in a workspace, according to their role and the workspace's settings;
  • professional advisers and auditors bound by confidentiality;
  • authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service; and
  • a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Providers may process information only for the services they supply to us and under applicable contractual and security obligations.

International transfers

The Service and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers and take steps designed to protect information consistently with this policy.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it is held. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably possible. Workspace owners control deletion of shared workspace content, subject to legal and backup-retention requirements.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep credentials and API keys confidential and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent or complain to a competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires it.

Account and workspace settings provide some of these controls directly. For other requests, contact us using the address below.

Children's privacy

MJHR is a business service and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child contrary to this requirement, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Third-party services

MJHR may link to third-party websites or display information obtained from external sources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as MJHR and applicable law evolve. We will publish the revised version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
